Mission Statement

The mission of the Eastport Yacht Club Foundation shall be to work with young people in the Annapolis and Anne Arundel County area, providing them with life opportunities, role models, and experiences geared toward, and based on, our shared maritime heritage.

We shall develop programs that educate children in the heritage and ecology of the Chesapeake Bay watershed, and teach them how to preserve and improve our environment.

We will provide specific life skills to young people, to include maritime vocational programs leading to future employment opportunities. As appropriate we will provide exposure to power and sail programs geared toward developing skills as well as creating positive self-esteem.

We will engage in charitable activities in the Annapolis and Anne Arundel County community in support of service organizations working with the disadvantaged and less fortunate.
