Application Dates
While there are currently no specific application dates, applicants are encouraged to submit their Grant Applications at least 90 days prior to the anticipated Grant Award. The Foundation does not meet every month so ample time must be allowed for a thorough review of each Grant Application.
Application Review and Evaluation
Each Grant Application received is immediately reviewed to determine if the application is within the Foundation’s vision. Applicant’s requests that do not meet the criteria will be notified in a timely manner.
Accepted Grant Applications will be reviewed by all of the Foundation’s Directors and additional information may be requested from the applicant. Applicants may be invited to meet with the Directors or a site visit may be requested.
The Foundation Board of Directors will make every effort to provide a decision regarding each Grant Application within 90 days of its receipt unless additional requested information slows the process.
Reporting Requirements
Each grant recipient is expected to provide, in writing, an objective evaluation of the project at the end of the grant year. In some cases, a more frequent assessment may be required. Failure to provide the required evaluation/assessment will make the organization ineligible for future grants from the Foundation. |
