Eastport Yacht Club Foundation [EYCF] is an independent corporation established to carry out the philanthropic goals of the Eastport Yacht Club [EYC]. The Foundation works closely with the Yacht Club to raise funds for specific community programs, such as the EYCF Oyster Kids Program and our newest educational program, MAritime Skills Training [MAST] program. Both programs provide an awareness and understanding of the Chesapeake Bay and related maritime business.
EYC Foundation also provides financial support and leadership training through grants to partner organizations and individual scholarships to programs that meet our mission.
Our Mission
EYCF promotes participation in boating, education in the marine trades and environmental awareness through collaborative programming, fundraising, and community partnerships.
The EYC Foundation’s Vision:

Funding
Obtaining adequate funding for these programs is of critical importance in meeting the Foundation’s mission. We rely on individual donations and significant contributions from companies and organizations. All of these necessary funds are solicited by volunteer members of the Foundation through presentations and the writing of Grants.
The EYCF initiatives are managed and coordinated by a Volunteer Board who donates their time, energy, experience and resources to fulfil the EYCF mission.
